Volume
Here are a couple of things which relate to music and inspired me using the volume bars inside my letters
Typeface Logos
Here is the DEADMAU5 logo who is a Dj which Marty like listening to. the font used is Ariel Black, i am fond of this font and may use it to develop my own. 
MUSE is Marty's favorite band so i plan to use this logo as inspiration for his font, the font they use is Frutiger 75 Black.

"simple and effective"An advertising campaign from Australia which is raising awarness of speeding has got alot of attention for it's simple yet strinking prints. its a very clever play on words and a simple suggestive pictice are the perfect combination.

this is an advertising campaign from Adidas for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. the detail in this piece is stunning and without it the piece just wouldn't have the same impact at all. Also the fact that it was mainly drawn by hand but retains it computerised feel makes it all the more impressive.

This is the Diesel "Be Stupid" campaign which i think has been the best clothing campaign out. its a very simple idea which has no relevance to clothing but in saying this it makes the clothes more exciting and appealing to people.

David Buckland
Here is an example of Buckland's work where he projects emotional messages onto a glacier in the arctic. he filmed the ice as it melted until it finally collapsed. it was a piece to show the effects of climate change and how quickly the ice melts in Antarctica.
